When we designed
our cat rooms, we added an area under the cabinet to slide in a Rubbermaid tub... |
|
|
Just choose a tub that's large enough to
hold your litterbox and still have some area in front that your cat can
walk in and out of.
Cut a hole in the side or front, depending on where you're going to put the tub. The when the cat exits, they have to step over the edge and most of the litter falls off of their paws. This is also a great solution for those cats who have trouble "aiming" and the urine shoots over the side of the litterbox. If they miss it simply stays in the tub and can be easily cleaned up. |

The litterbox also doubles
as a place to climb or relax! |

If you locate your tub
near a window, then it can also double as a place to sit and watch the neighbors! |
