TUXEDO JUNCTION RESCUE
FACILITY

Here are some pictures of our facility.
Our foster cats do not mix with our own cats so they have their own special rooms.
We have done our best to make it a home type atmosphere and not a shelter like one.
This way when the cats come to live in your home the transition will be as smooth as possible.

The facility is divided into three rooms. They can be sealed off from one another
if any of the cats are ill or they can all open up so the cats can mix freely.
Cages are ONLY used for recovery and initial isolation and evaluation.
The cats normally get to run around and interact and enjoy themselves in a normal home type environment.

We provide lots of fun places to climb!

There are also windows for fresh air and light.

The windows have special grills so that the cats
can't push out the screen and fall out.

Volunteers are very important to TJR.
If you look closely at the left side of the picture you
will see the leg of one of our volunteers
covered by snuggle cats.
We always need more volunteers...
