Polly
thought she had a pretty good life, but then her person passed
away and she ended up at the local shelter. Tuxedo Junction
Rescue pulled her from the shelter the evening before she was
scheduled to be killed. (Whew! That was
close!)
Poor Polly had become very ill
at the shelter, and it
took a long time for her to recover. Although she is better now,
she has some medical issues that will require some extra care
throughout her life (her kidneys don't work as well as they
should).
But
this charming girl is very special, and it is more than her extra
toes that makes her this way. She adores people and would
love to have attention 24/7 if she could. She can be quite
a talker until she gets what she wants, which is often a place on
your lap! Once she is happily settled, she will reward you
with nose kisses and lots of affection.

Polly
also likes toys, especially those that she and her human can play
with together. She tolerates other cats, but is
usually somewhat passive toward them - for this reason, any other
cats in her home should be laid back and mellow. She is
gentle and would probably do well with older children as well as
adults.

Polly
was born in April, 2003. She is spayed, negative for
FeLV/FIV, current on vaccinations and microchipped. She
would be a delightful addition to a home with an adopter who has
experience with feline renal failure and has lots of love to
give.
