It's JUDY ... the chubby bundle of love!

Everything seemed to be going fine for Judy, until her life took an unfortunate turn. For some reason, she began to “go” outside her litterbox, so her people decided to have her live in their backyard, even though she was very contented as an indoor kitty. Judy ended up escaping the yard, and lived a scary life on the street for about a month before a very kind person found her and took her to a vet clinic.

Sadly, her people didn't want her to come back,

so she came to live at Tuxedo Junction Rescue.

During her ordeal on the street, she lost a huge amount of weight, and our vet also discovered that she had a urinary tract infection as well as severe dental disease. (Both of these problems may have caused her litterbox issues!)

She got medication for her infection, and when her weight got up to normal, she received the dental treatment that she had probably needed for quite some time. Now she is feeling better than she has in ages!

While she has lived at our shelter, Judy has always used the litterbox, and even though she had to have a number of teeth extracted, she happily eats both dry and canned food with no difficulty. In fact, she likes food a little too much, and needs to watch her intake to keep from getting chubby.

Pretty Judy loves to get her tummy rubbed and will roll over onto her back, just in case you need a hint. She also loves head scratches and being petted, and sometimes she'll talk to you with her little chirpy voice. She is independent, and would be fine as the only animal in the household. Although she does tolerate other cats, she sometimes wants to be the top cat and will challenge a less dominant cat. She would also be fine around older children.

Judy was born in June, 2005. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is microchipped. She is patiently waiting for her second chance to have someone who is committed to loving her and taking care of her for life.

Judy loves it here at TJR but REALLY wants a REAL family to love her.....
